Complete full dentures

Similar to the single full denture but the complete full dentures are for those who have no remaining natural teeth in the mouth. The procedure for fabrication is very much like the single denture except the wearer can now choose a shade of teeth they want because it doesn’t have to match a remaining tooth anymore.

However, a new challenge arises for the patient because no natural teeth are rooted into the jaw bone anymore. This means when they try to bite, their jaws are no longer guided by the firmly rooted teeth with cuspal angles working in perfect harmony with jaw muscle-memory. The patient has to take a few steps back and train in the skill of controlling the muscle movements of the tongue and cheek. Instructions and practice methods will be advised throughout the process of denture fabrication. The Denturist will take the time to help you identify what’s been working well and what requires more attention.
